Home Improvements

So here are my new lamps for the entry table. I hate to admit how much time I wasted shopping around for the little darlings, obsessing really, only to finally realize I couldn't find exactly what I wanted , so what did I do? Buy what was super cheap on sale. Oh yeah, so much for the perfect find. Moving on

New heart plate, that makes three seasonal plates, all of which I hated painting b/c it is so hard.

My favorite Christmas gift from my man- new hardware on the cabinets! I can be so easy to please, I stare at them all the time(mainly b/c I live in the kitchen...you know) and don't mind my dirty dishwasher!

Second project by my honey, tile backsplash in the master bath. My girls take baths in here a lot and soak the walls. We just knew they were gonna collapse one day. He is so talented, the hardest part was picking out the tile.
Another view. AHHHHHH

So that's the skinny on the vaca projects. Love getting things crossed off a list. But of coarse I am always adding to it! Am I the only one that does this? I wish my brain would just turn off for a while and enjoy the house more. But there is always just a few more things to do! Next, finish the girls room(waiting for cutains from Target) and next; the kids bathroom. Which only means More Painting! I did count 11 cans of paint in the garage, in a house that is only 2 years old and has 7 rooms.......Yikes!

Love love your house Julie! You are always doing little projects... sounds familiar. :) I have a very long to-do list of home improvements and am always changing/rearranging things too. This drives Greg a little nuts. :) But I sure enjoy it. :)
