So when Christmas came we were all <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">glad</span> to take a break from activities and just have some fun. We went ice skating in Austin but it was so warm there was water everywhere! But the kids loved it and they were actually all good skaters.<br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rpQKOB0HinE/TxZdGnI6vBI/AAAAAAAABQ4/OP-07uVwt4U/s1600/coles%2Bfield%2Btrip.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 299px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5698844746650926098" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rpQKOB0HinE/TxZdGnI6vBI/AAAAAAAABQ4/OP-07uVwt4U/s400/coles%2Bfield%2Btrip.jpg" /></a>Cole had a field trip in the fall to a farm in our area that preserved homes of original settlers. I went and "got" to dress up as a pioneer and show part of the home. Cole said it was AWESOME!<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-y9kfcCzSNBs/TxZdGcthJBI/AAAAAAAABQw/xpDzTv3i6UA/s1600/Chloe%2Bsenior%2Bpic.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 267px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5698844743851648018" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-y9kfcCzSNBs/TxZdGcthJBI/AAAAAAAABQw/xpDzTv3i6UA/s400/Chloe%2Bsenior%2Bpic.jpg" /></a>Chloe took her senior pictures right when school was starting and of course they turned out amazing. She has really grown up and we are looking forward to the next chapter for Chloe. She has committed to Southern Utah University for the fall and is very excited to leave high school.</div><div><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nPb8nLg_-k4/TxZdGCrULzI/AAAAAAAABQk/wCgoLuA6XHQ/s1600/Mia%2Bfirst%2Bday%2Bof%2Bkinder.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 299px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5698844736863088434" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nPb8nLg_-k4/TxZdGCrULzI/AAAAAAAABQk/wCgoLuA6XHQ/s400/Mia%2Bfirst%2Bday%2Bof%2Bkinder.jpg" /></a>This is Mia's first day of <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">kindergarten</span>. She was so excited to finally join her big sister and brother at school. She loves school and spends large <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">quantities</span> of time re-telling and re-teaching me everything she learns.<br /><div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-31873487535485877612012-01-17T21:17:00.000-08:002012-01-17T21:43:11.695-08:00Hello?? Anyone there?<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sqqaXp2ES1U/TxZY7lj5J0I/AAAAAAAABQY/yNWk3ittIAY/s1600/Julie%2Bat%2BIn%2Band%2BOut.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 299px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5698840159202125634" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sqqaXp2ES1U/TxZY7lj5J0I/AAAAAAAABQY/yNWk3ittIAY/s400/Julie%2Bat%2BIn%2Band%2BOut.jpg" /></a>I am so embarrassed about my lack of posts and I have many excuses but I will spare those boring details and catch up! Last summer we went to Frisco to visit my brother John and his sweet family. One day we took all the kiddos on a field trip to In and Out Burger. I had never been and I must admit the burgers were divine.<br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TFaiYuhYRm0/TxZY7PANNRI/AAAAAAAABQM/2BEnXTp8bZA/s1600/Mallory%2Band%2Bdana.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 299px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5698840153146864914" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TFaiYuhYRm0/TxZY7PANNRI/AAAAAAAABQM/2BEnXTp8bZA/s400/Mallory%2Band%2Bdana.jpg" /></a>The kids had a week end trip planned to Dana's dad and Meme's but Mallory was sick and couldn't make the trip. So me and Dana took her to Galveston(still sick) and she had a great day with us all to herself. Playing on the beach, lunch, a carriage ride and a ride in our neighbors Jeep.<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ScU2lbfvlKU/TxZY6yGAUyI/AAAAAAAABQA/d82kX1qiZuY/s1600/Mia%2Bon%2Bthe%2Bblocks%2B1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 291px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5698840145386558242" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ScU2lbfvlKU/TxZY6yGAUyI/AAAAAAAABQA/d82kX1qiZuY/s400/Mia%2Bon%2Bthe%2Bblocks%2B1.jpg" /></a>The beginning of the summer was A. Lot. Of. Swim.Team. Dana is the President. Chloe is an assistant coach. All three little kids swim. And I run around like a chicken with my head cut off! But it is fun and the kids love it. And we love it to.(when it's over)<br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DKkRouc5qxs/TxZY6CIgc6I/AAAAAAAABP0/QtoRKMWRbbk/s1600/Mallory%2B%2526%2BNicole.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 299px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5698840132512150434" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DKkRouc5qxs/TxZY6CIgc6I/AAAAAAAABP0/QtoRKMWRbbk/s400/Mallory%2B%2526%2BNicole.jpg" /></a>In July we went to Austin for a Merris Reunion. We had fun swimming and boating on the lake. The house was awesome that we stayed in and the cousins had so much fun. This is my sister Nicole and my Mallory. Obviously they look alike. Mallory is my only one that looks like my side of the family.<br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KPQ_LIzxwYM/TxZY6KEwHiI/AAAAAAAABPo/Hvw7hjDKNZ8/s1600/reunion.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 299px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5698840134643883554" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KPQ_LIzxwYM/TxZY6KEwHiI/AAAAAAAABPo/Hvw7hjDKNZ8/s400/reunion.jpg" /></a>Mallory, Mia, JJ and Callie just chill en. They had a blast together. Well that was a small recap of the summer. We actually had so much fun, spent a lot of time at Splashtown, the pool, and really enjoying our lazy days.<br /><div> </div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-59055929328356221802011-06-14T06:44:00.001-07:002011-06-14T12:27:35.387-07:00Where Does All the Time Go?<div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PiWVgNZ2kfY/TfdsitSqm2I/AAAAAAAABPg/0lrEgzuCZLA/s1600/137.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5618078403697220450" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PiWVgNZ2kfY/TfdsitSqm2I/AAAAAAAABPg/0lrEgzuCZLA/s400/137.JPG" /></a> Mia all smiles</div><div><br /><div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--dpfKLawAlk/TfdowChmt0I/AAAAAAAABPY/m1CYPJfj7-I/s1600/134.JPG"></a>Have you ever got a daughter all ready for prom? It is about a 3-4 month process. Kinda fun, kinda stressful. But she is your oldest and its all exciting. And then the big day arrives and she looks so beautiful and you can't believe she is old enough to go to prom. And then 4 days later you watch another daughter graduate from Pre School. That's crazy right? My sister in law Cindy, my mom Cathy and one of my sisters Jessica all went. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment 4 long blocks from Time Square. We had an amazing time. But don't worry, I didn't bring the camera! So the pics are from the phone.</span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"></span><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TUHhBgP_7II/AAAAAAAABOk/cMXJVJj6DNw/s1600/New%2BYork%2BBuilding.jpg"><span style="font-size:130%;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566978030359800962" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TUHhBgP_7II/AAAAAAAABOk/cMXJVJj6DNw/s400/New%2BYork%2BBuilding.jpg" /></span></a><span style="font-size:130%;"> Chloe and I LOVED all the cool buildings and neighborhoods. This building was across the street from Bryant Park.</span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><br /></span><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TUHhBc7CFTI/AAAAAAAABOc/db2AzZu0hWo/s1600/Chloe%2Bat%2BBryant%2Bpark.jpg"><span style="font-size:130%;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566978029466555698" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TUHhBc7CFTI/AAAAAAAABOc/db2AzZu0hWo/s400/Chloe%2Bat%2BBryant%2Bpark.jpg" /></span></a><span style="font-size:130%;"> We happened upon Bryant Park on accident and it was all done up for the holidays. There were vendors and even ice skating.<br />So NYC!<br /></span><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TUHhBcRvl-I/AAAAAAAABOU/LoR9T9eqHdA/s1600/chloe%2Band%2BCindy.jpg"><span style="font-size:130%;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566978029293377506" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TUHhBcRvl-I/AAAAAAAABOU/LoR9T9eqHdA/s400/chloe%2Band%2BCindy.jpg" /></span></a><span style="font-size:130%;"> We did eat Very well, and I mean good food, not healthy food! But we did walk everywhere so that helps the good food stay off our bodies! Here is Chloe and Cindy.<br /><br /><br /></span><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TUHhBKphImI/AAAAAAAABOM/CG2Dnidy7Z0/s1600/New%2BYork.jpg"><span style="font-size:130%;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 179px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566978024561255010" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TUHhBKphImI/AAAAAAAABOM/CG2Dnidy7Z0/s400/New%2BYork.jpg" /></span></a><span style="font-size:130%;"> Wish this pic was better. We saw The Lion King, The Rocket's and Billy Elliot. All the shows were awesome. We went shopping, drove by Central Park on the way to eat at Serendipity. Which was amazing. We bought purses from street vendors and thought we might never be seen again as we followed him up a secret staircase. But we bought Louie and Chanel and Juicey. So totally worth almost dying! What an amazing trip we had! Thanks Mom for the theater tickets and the apartment! Best Christmas present Ever!<br /><br /><br /><br /></span><div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-70011649213891076942010-12-13T19:29:00.000-08:002010-12-13T20:17:23.676-08:00Christmas Decor 2010<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TQbsNdymsVI/AAAAAAAABN4/Y3_wzhScGig/s1600/085.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550383306860048722" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TQbsNdymsVI/AAAAAAAABN4/Y3_wzhScGig/s400/085.JPG" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TQbrMEAg1ZI/AAAAAAAABNw/YnL9SW5xsps/s1600/087.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550382183247566226" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TQbrMEAg1ZI/AAAAAAAABNw/YnL9SW5xsps/s400/087.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>This year I decided to add a little cheer to my room. I didn't do the traditional garland this year. My tree is right next to the mantle so I went with something more simple. All in all, I just love Christmas decor. I am still making a few more things for this year because I just can't stop myself. And when it all must come down, I do get a little sad. So I enjoy every minute. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-60992213155606056712010-10-07T11:59:00.000-07:002010-10-07T12:54:02.254-07:00I LOVE FALL & HALLOWEEN<u><span style="color:#0066cc;">Favorite time of year hands down!!!</span></u><br /><u><em><span style="color:#cc6600;">And I live in Texas where fall is maybe a week long. I knew the new little moments were coming and let's be honest, I was a little giddy. So here are just a few of our new Firsts.<br /><br />Mia is on her First team. The Tigers. We were feeling really good about it because the color was right...can't go wrong with orange people.<br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TK4U76_l3MI/AAAAAAAABLI/bPyOG5yfGb0/s1600/013.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5525376812510993602" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TK4U76_l3MI/AAAAAAAABLI/bPyOG5yfGb0/s400/013.JPG" /></a> Second she was <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">soooooo</span> dang excited to play. Then came the first practice and I knew this first was not going to be a fond memory someday. Nope. <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Turns</span> out she doesn't like to run because it hurts her legs. Really.<br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TK4U7m0nJsI/AAAAAAAABLA/U6ilimSAyCY/s1600/015.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5525376807096231618" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TK4U7m0nJsI/AAAAAAAABLA/U6ilimSAyCY/s400/015.JPG" /></a> And there is the other problem of not really focusing on the task at hand. She looks like this a lot. Unless she is actually laying on the field...while her teammates are running around. Yea, that was a proud moment. Especially since she does have the coolest girl who plays soccer name.(Mia <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">Hamm</span>.) Sigh.</div><div><br />But another good first was Mia's <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">first</span> day of <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">pre</span>-school. She was more excited than the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">picture</span> proves. And she likes going. Although she did mention she thinks the crafts are dumb. Really?<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TK4U7Fi6RSI/AAAAAAAABK4/7nYzSJKCfq4/s1600/011.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5525376798163617058" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TK4U7Fi6RSI/AAAAAAAABK4/7nYzSJKCfq4/s400/011.JPG" /></a> Another big first was having 2 kids <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">head</span> out to the bus stop. Cole is in third grade and Mallory is in first. Both like some part of school. We will leave it at that.<br /><br /><div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TK4U6mkr2AI/AAAAAAAABKo/NIKabKL8D7I/s1600/015.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5525376789849561090" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TK4U6mkr2AI/AAAAAAAABKo/NIKabKL8D7I/s400/015.JPG" /></a> So to wrap up our firsts</div><div></div><div>First time to have only one child at home since 2002. </div><div></div><div>First time I have 2 kids at one school.</div><div></div><div>First time to have 3 morning a week all to myself.</div><div></div><div>First time to volunteer at school on a weekly basis.</div><div></div><div>First time all 4 of my kids are <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">involved</span> in <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">activities</span>.( Cole wrestling, Chloe soccer, Mallory dance and Mia soccer-sort of)</div><div><br />First time to be able to clean my whole house at one time since 2002.</div><div></div><div>First time to have conversations with other parents for more than 10 seconds at a time.</div><div></div><div>First time I sat down to read in an empty house and cried. Just a little. Because the firsts can be <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">scary</span>. And feel a little weird. And then you know there are lots more firsts that will make you cry.</div><div><br /><br /><br /><br /></div><div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-21558996092318600622010-08-21T15:04:00.000-07:002010-08-21T15:15:18.169-07:00Cutie Pie Girls<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBO4sM1ayI/AAAAAAAABKA/5YaqJ_8cAQo/s1600/214.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507989080118749986" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBO4sM1ayI/AAAAAAAABKA/5YaqJ_8cAQo/s400/214.JPG" /></a> Chloe tried out her new curling iron on Mia. They were good sports about it. I think they were pretty tight on their arms. But they did look cute.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBOfWzwVHI/AAAAAAAABJg/9udpFVCQCgs/s1600/085.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507988644879684722" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBOfWzwVHI/AAAAAAAABJg/9udpFVCQCgs/s400/085.JPG" /></a> I always think about how Mallory and Mia don't look anything alike. But they are sweet sisters and best friends. I love watching them play and laugh and tell each other everything. So cute. Mia is going to be lost without her saide kick when school starts.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBOexYT-SI/AAAAAAAABJY/iit9MN1v8TU/s1600/084.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507988634832468258" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBOexYT-SI/AAAAAAAABJY/iit9MN1v8TU/s400/084.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-35424387956095356622010-08-21T14:38:00.000-07:002010-08-21T15:04:34.883-07:00New Braunfels 2010<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBMOODrFRI/AAAAAAAABJQ/rOopNqc8NqA/s1600/063.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507986151449498898" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBMOODrFRI/AAAAAAAABJQ/rOopNqc8NqA/s400/063.JPG" /></a> The kids love to go to this shallow area on the river and build a dam. Cole is in charge of this project every year. They work on it each day, several times a day. A man came by and said that his sons did the very project when they were little all the time. He thought it was really cute.<br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBJvlp8fuI/AAAAAAAABJI/MPY8-d3PEaI/s1600/077.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507983426184838882" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBJvlp8fuI/AAAAAAAABJI/MPY8-d3PEaI/s400/077.JPG" /></a> One favorite part of going to the river for the kids is the tire swing and see saw. Who knew these classic and Very Dangerous playground toys would still be so popular. They would play there anytime we were not in the river.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBJuicCXYI/AAAAAAAABJA/E_7CWtVCowk/s1600/070.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5507983408141327746" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/THBJuicCXYI/AAAAAAAABJA/E_7CWtVCowk/s400/070.JPG" /></a> Cole looking very guilty and yet super cute. After all, it is his favorite thing to do. I have to have a theme some how for every party, so I decided to use a target. Here are the boys getting ready for their first mission. Dana gave them a Harry Potter DVD and told them it was a secret mission. Some boys were the defenders and some boys were trying to get the DVD.<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TArE353uEGI/AAAAAAAABIA/o7Txm23WFQc/s1600/088.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5479408361356005474" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TArE353uEGI/AAAAAAAABIA/o7Txm23WFQc/s400/088.JPG" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TArEdbHXdCI/AAAAAAAABH4/2F9rBTdsL7M/s1600/089.JPG"></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TArEdFHK4-I/AAAAAAAABHw/YOUanWeBmqk/s1600/097.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5479407900517131234" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TArEdFHK4-I/AAAAAAAABHw/YOUanWeBmqk/s400/097.JPG" /></a> For the cakes, I made fondant, which was really easy and turned out super cute.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TArEco1tiLI/AAAAAAAABHo/iOdkf9VQlds/s1600/095.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5479407892927711410" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/TArEco1tiLI/AAAAAAAABHo/iOdkf9VQlds/s400/095.JPG" /></a><br /><br />Here is a bad picture of his invites. He acts like he is not interested but he was all about going to take their picture with me and dropping the kids off so it was just us. He said we are for sure old now and I agree. Her school has been a lot of fun and I know she has enjoyed it. I asked her if she was excited school was almost over and she said No. She didn't want to talk about it because she didn't want to cry. How sweet Mallory is to love her teacher so much. She has already invited her to lunch next year at Kuenhle.<br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-3022202259403973812010-05-08T10:29:00.000-07:002010-05-08T10:39:14.207-07:00Easter..What?Clearly Easter has come and gone but I still catching up on my blogging. We decided to drive down to the beach for a day since it is only a little over an hour away......EXCEPT when it is the Friday at the end of spring break. Then it takes 3 hours with 6 kids in the car(two Illegally), one who was sick with stomach issues, one who is 5 months and hungry but super cute. You get the picture. BUT amazingly, once we got to Galveston, it was fun. The beach was nice, the food was awesome and we even visited an ice cream shop with candies and treats.<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6V3YTGMjpI/AAAAAAAABCo/7PlPSivoOrU/s1600-h/013.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5450894183328681618" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6V3YTGMjpI/AAAAAAAABCo/7PlPSivoOrU/s400/013.JPG" /></a> Cindy, me and Chloe(under the blanket is Mia- so sick. She is in her bathing suit because it was beach day at the gym.<br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JJSElBKLI/AAAAAAAABCI/SewDb6XUwcc/s1600-h/028.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449999073887201458" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JJSElBKLI/AAAAAAAABCI/SewDb6XUwcc/s400/028.JPG" /></a><br />Climbing at the park in another highlight. There was hot dogs and a bounce house. Pretty much everything a kids could want! Mia is signed up to swim. She taught herself last summer to swim, so she is ready. Are they ready for her? Hard to know.<br /><div><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JIz2bsj9I/AAAAAAAABBo/0Hqv3BNVj0g/s1600-h/027.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449998554693930962" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JIz2bsj9I/AAAAAAAABBo/0Hqv3BNVj0g/s400/027.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JIzh-PBUI/AAAAAAAABBg/f5bGK7D8PuY/s1600-h/002.JPG"></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-27647750118054291032010-03-18T08:21:00.000-07:002010-03-18T08:34:34.770-07:00Mallory Cate<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JF0Y4TBrI/AAAAAAAABBY/20cfx_PcWuA/s1600-h/058.JPG"></a>Mallory has been a busy girl. She has been doing awesome in school and is working hard. She loves school, her teacher and all her friends. Girls only. She loves to have play dates but Mia will do in a pinch! Here she is at the petting zoo and she pretty much would have stayed forever.<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JFz1-1BBI/AAAAAAAABBQ/8TVpOf1luYs/s1600-h/057.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449995256037966866" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JFz1-1BBI/AAAAAAAABBQ/8TVpOf1luYs/s400/057.JPG" /></a>Her school did a rodeo day and we had to make a pony. Then they had a parade which was too cute. Her pony was pink of coarse!<br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JFzsFeZ6I/AAAAAAAABBI/UGGVXDAeUKc/s1600-h/007.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449995253381490594" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JFzsFeZ6I/AAAAAAAABBI/UGGVXDAeUKc/s400/007.JPG" /></a> She had to match with pink clothes and she LET me braid her hair since cow girls have braids! She kills me.<br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JFzJjcfbI/AAAAAAAABBA/f025pcHl1ck/s1600-h/004.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449995244111953330" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JFzJjcfbI/AAAAAAAABBA/f025pcHl1ck/s400/004.JPG" /></a>This picture pretty much sums Mallory up. Always goofy, a little crazy and sure does not care what you think! She is fun and smart and the most attached to me. She hates when I leave but rarely gives kisses.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JFyqTIQvI/AAAAAAAABA4/1bxBoXBGnkc/s1600-h/012.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449995235722019570" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JFyqTIQvI/AAAAAAAABA4/1bxBoXBGnkc/s400/012.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-82558958021170537642010-03-18T08:02:00.000-07:002010-03-18T08:13:13.903-07:00Cole BrandonHere is Cole at the rodeo petting zoo. He was pretty much in heaven. I took him to where all the FFA kids had their animals and explained to him how it worked. He said he would like to raise animals in high school. But he would not be selling them. Maybe sell the milk. Only. And he was sad he couldn't do the mutten busten. Where the kids hold on for dear life to a sheep. So dang cute.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JBRjzFq2I/AAAAAAAABAw/qdwJVGC9J18/s1600-h/056.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449990268994825058" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6JBRjzFq2I/AAAAAAAABAw/qdwJVGC9J18/s400/056.JPG" /></a> Cole and is friends Eric and Adam at state wrestling meet. Chloe has been doing a lot of soccer. Two games a week, with lots of practices. So we have been to a lot of games, which the kids think is a time to run wild through the bleachers. Most of the games were soooo dang cold but the last two were really nice. Chloe has done great this season but I think she is glad it is over . So she will have more time. With her BF. Not me.<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6I9T1OGTNI/AAAAAAAABAQ/gews-Sn_Oz4/s1600-h/025.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449985909984742610" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6I9T1OGTNI/AAAAAAAABAQ/gews-Sn_Oz4/s400/025.JPG" /></a> Here we are about to go to the rodeo in Houston. I can't beleive she came with us. Oh, I remember why she did...<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6I7vEaicsI/AAAAAAAABAI/bBpaEWwyyLc/s1600-h/033.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 401px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 313px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449984178896663234" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6I7vEaicsI/AAAAAAAABAI/bBpaEWwyyLc/s400/033.JPG" /></a> Her boy friend got to come. Christopher and Chloe are making up for 8 weeks of lost time due to Chloes grounding(several factors). So know we can see Chloe at soccer(opps, that's over), at our house with Chris or never. Good times.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6I7uaFdamI/AAAAAAAABAA/SWbMOvoQfBE/s1600-h/039.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449984167533963874" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6I7uaFdamI/AAAAAAAABAA/SWbMOvoQfBE/s400/039.JPG" /></a><br />Chloe is getting her permit tomorrow(fingers crossed) and already has a car thanks to her Papa Tucker getting a new one. 2005 Subaru. Lucky little thing! And she is going to prom in May. And I can feel my heart breaking just a little bit everyday as she grows up and away. Time goes by too quickly, I find I linger a little longer and listen a bit more to my younger three because I know it is just a blink and they will be gone.</div><div><div><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6I7tyafi2I/AAAAAAAAA_w/yXHBVhRNHdY/s1600-h/009.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449984156884765538" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S6I7tyafi2I/AAAAAAAAA_w/yXHBVhRNHdY/s400/009.JPG" /></a>But that's what kids do. So I will just try to remember to enjoy it!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-43735940448417068372010-02-15T08:22:00.001-08:002010-02-15T08:36:20.118-08:00Week-end MemoriesSo many thing have happened over the past week it is hard to catch my breath! There are several reasons-<br />1. My camera broke the week before Christmas.<br />2. I started not one but two jobs . One in December working for my brother(which I love) and then in January I started watching a 16 month old for the next three months.<br />3. We have been crazy busy but with no camera to back me up with evidence.<br />But here are some pics from Christmas that we took when all of my siblings were together.<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S3ClOf-ZXCI/AAAAAAAAA-g/IQjidM1CFSs/s1600-h/2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 266px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5436026418756148258" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/S3ClOf-ZXCI/AAAAAAAAA-g/IQjidM1CFSs/s400/2.jpg" /></a> We had the best time with all our family over the holidays and are super excited because my brother, his wife and the two little cuties in the above picture just moved to Dallas from Utah. Now we can hang out a lot more.<br /><br /><div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4958107142911889524.post-20472477971476817352009-12-09T14:06:00.000-08:002009-12-09T20:09:34.790-08:00Paint Make OversBefore Paint. After 1999. Giant Armoire.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/SyBzIFBBlZI/AAAAAAAAA-Y/lEb-OETTT-I/s1600-h/004.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5413453334721959314" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/SyBzIFBBlZI/AAAAAAAAA-Y/lEb-OETTT-I/s400/004.JPG" /></a><br /><div>I am sure I have wrote about how paint is really the fastest, cheapest, most effective tool to makeover your home. After putting off some painting for a while, I finally got to it and painted my giant armoire. I actually took courage from my favorite blogger <a href="http://www.nestingplacenc.blogspot.com/search?q=painting+the+armoire">The Nester</a>, who has the EXACT armoire and painted hers a cool aqua color. You plan to go to an awesome activity, you can picture the children laughing, having fun. You and your honey give each other a high five with your eyes, thinking we are the best parents ever? This was NOT one those times. AT ALL. I bought tickets to the air show about an hour away in south Houston. Super excited because we have been many times in Austin and the little girls have never been. First we were running behind, Dana was sad because we were "missing all the good stuff". Then we get down to the general area(less than 3 miles from the airport) and traffic stops. Dead stops. Two <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">alternative</span> routes and many swear words and TWO HOURS LATER we pulled into the parking lot. We tried to recover but it took a while to get our <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">attitudes</span> set right. But we did have fun, got to see cool planes and most Importantly we saw the Blue Angels and that was Almost worth the trip. Our motto is Making Memories and we have decided that can be good or bad ones, but memories all the same.<br /><br />Mia really impressed to be in the helicopter<br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/SvCbhNxOycI/AAAAAAAAA9w/LP3ACjNXOyA/s1600-h/062.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399986948151364034" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/SvCbhNxOycI/AAAAAAAAA9w/LP3ACjNXOyA/s400/062.JPG" /></a> Mia , Chloe and Cole in our white <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">trash</span> seats AKA a wagon.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/SvCbgxNb0LI/AAAAAAAAA9o/2TwlZ3ZLDwc/s1600-h/068.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399986940485030066" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/SvCbgxNb0LI/AAAAAAAAA9o/2TwlZ3ZLDwc/s400/068.JPG" /></a> Mallory and Cole ready to fly<br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/SvCbgsAtvoI/AAAAAAAAA9g/lcJQh5AyRjM/s1600-h/063.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399986939089501826" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/SvCbgsAtvoI/AAAAAAAAA9g/lcJQh5AyRjM/s400/063.JPG" /></a><br />Cute pic of the girls taken by Chloe. I have sworn for at least the past 6 years that pets were not going to happen. I have had pets and it was never a successful venture. Was it terrible pets? Most likely not. It was me. I am not a pet lover. I don't even think I am a pet liker.(grammer...what??) So how is it <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">that</span> you are staring at a picture of a dog??<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/Su3e_gC6aPI/AAAAAAAAA9I/7UHjpJ67oxo/s1600-h/029.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399216710802368754" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/Su3e_gC6aPI/AAAAAAAAA9I/7UHjpJ67oxo/s400/029.JPG" /></a><br />Chloe rescued this little pup from a pool and brought her home. I thought for sure the owners would be found but that has not happened. But as the days turned into weeks, I discovered something. I still do not like dogs(too messy, too crazy, too <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">smelly</span>) but I DO love my children. And seeing them so in love with this little dog melted me to the point of no return. Love always wins, right? They are already fighting about who is going to take the dog when they move out- 11-15 years away! So Gracie is part of our family, a family where five people love her and one person tolerates her. But that one person adores her children loving their dog.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/Su3e_Tp6OuI/AAAAAAAAA9A/CZDpM3hJhcI/s1600-h/028.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399216707476273890" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SSU2SyJqriU/Su3e_Tp6OuI/AAAAAAAAA9A/CZDpM3hJhcI/s400/028.JPG" /></a> What could I say?<br /><br /><div></div></div>Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11929999838625476788noreply@blogger.com3
